This is my progress report for EDRD 430. This shows the steps I took to assess and tutor a young student in the spring of 2015. This progress report contains a variety of pre and post-tests, background information, recommendations, student artifacts, and reflections.
Rationale for InTASC 6
My progress report represents InTASC Standard 6 because it served as proof of my student’s growth throughout the semester. During tutoring process, I gave multiple pre-tests and formative assessments that I used to shape my instruction. By monitoring my student’s progress, I was better able to individualize his instruction. At the end of the tutoring experience, I performed several post-tests that measured my student’s overall progress and allowed me to determine if he had met the goals set in the beginning of the semester. These results also allowed me to make knowledgeable recommendations for my student.
